With today’s competition for declining mobile broadband sales becoming increasingly competitive, it isn’t surprising that 3 are temping customers with an offer they can’t refuse; a free 2GB iPod Shuffle worth £44 when they purchase mobile broadband.
Customers signing up to either 3’s 5GB or 15GB mobile broadband packages will receive Comet vouchers to the value of the iPod to allow them to purchase the iPod directly from Comet, together with a free USB modem and free delivery with their order.
Customers are given a time period of 12 months to redeem their vouchers at Comet which will be reassuring for those customers are might be suspicious that this offer simply sounds too good to be true.
The mobile broadband package costing customers a reasonable £15 per month is one of the most competitive deals out there at the moment, although a decent mobile broadband package for a light user can be obtained for less than £10 per month at present, with a free USB modem and free delivery.
We have recently seen O2 also resorting to giving away a free mobile phone with all mobile broadband pay monthly contracts, which was a huge success with their Sony Ericsson T280i worth £50 selling out and subsequently being replaced by the Nokia 2630.
Many companies now offer laptops when mobile broadband is purchased too, which reflects how keen these companies are for sales in the current economical climate.
O2 were also the first provider to offer home broadband and mobile broadband bundled together for less than £20 per month.

How do mobile phone plans work in australia?Hi i will be moving to the OZ in about a month or so and i have been looking into getting a mobile. The plans are very different to what i am used to. I see that they use caps, and the price of mobiles can be charged over the month instead of buying it in full. Also i would like to get a a monthly plan. Do they do any sort of credit check? How is the provider 3? Thanks all

There is every type of plan you can imagine – but they will be either pre-paid or Monthly bills. The pre-paid ones can be capped if you wish, the monthly-billed ones are not.
I presume they do a credit check, but may just take an imprint of your credit card instead. It's a long time since I signed up for this plan so I'm not sure.
I've heard that the '3' coverage isn't great. I use Vodafone and they're fine….never had a problem with them.
Also…bring your handset with you and you won't need to buy a phone.
I love this world

@Anekosanify yeah true haha, i didnt really think about what i was typing
You are better off buying the location with the existing trailer on it , all other things being equal, the cost of providing those services to another site could equal the cost of a good condition newer trailer. You could either replace the trailer at a later time for not a huge amount (Double check the zoning and planning board rules on this) or you could use it as a building site for a moduler or stick built home as well.
I have seen a lot of sites that send out text messages, but for your purpose as a real estate agent I could see how that would deficient. I know of one site that you can create picture messaging slideshows. http://www.cellyspace.com has an MMS composer that you can create slideshows with video, images, audio and text. They have tools for you to broadcast those messages as mobile alerts to subscribers or you can place a keycode on for sale signs like "Text HOUSE to 33563" and people driving buy can instantly have virtual property tour sent to their mobile phones. You'll be able to gather potential leads while you're not even working and inform multiple clients of new open houses with previews and anything else you can think of.
Unlocked means not tied one network, like AT&T or TMobile. You can obtain an unlock code for a GSM phone in various ways, TMobile will actually provide that code is you have had the phone long enough.
Factory unlocked is just that, the phone was never locked to one carrier when it was sold.
Debranded is removing all special screens, menus, and software that ties a phone to a particular company. This may also mean not having a phone company name on the exterior of the phone as well.
You may lose some specific network functionality with such a phone. If all you do is make calls and the occasional text, it won't matter. MMS, Internet, wifi, that sort of of thing, may not work properly.
I guess you always have to carry a video recorder you dont know what may happen

To connect an external monitor to a phone, you need to have phone with tv out. For external keyboard, there are only a handful of smartphones that can connect to an external keyboard.

So fuck you O2 robots with your boxes
You do not need a full pad, but you do need what are called piers. They are tubular structures, in the ground, down to the frost line. Holes are augered, and then cardboard concrete tubes are placed in, and they are filled with cement. These are what the blocks are placed on, and then the house. They are necessary to avoid ground shift during cold weather.
As far as the placement of ANY blocking, contact the manufacturer of your home and give them the serial number. They can fax you a "pier plan". This will tell you where to place the piers.
Yes, you can also use a full pad. Just contact a manufactured home set crew, and they will tell you what size it needs to be.
You will still need a pier plan for proper placement of blocks. If you don't use one, be prepared for sagging floors, doors that won't open, doors that won't close, etc.
Epic, Nuff said.
