One trick is to really know your stuff well before going to these 2 places if not you will be ended up as a carrot (deliciously chop and strew) and always ask for a discount especially in Sim Lim Square. Also know what is in the package of the gadget so the black shop there won't be selling you "spare" parts that is suppose to be in the package.
