How to restore computer when my computer just randomly shuts off?Whenever I go on my computer after a few minutes (I'd say about 5) it just restarts for some reason. That's part of windows. It's part of the error reporting service. It sounds to me like you have a program crashing on start up and dr watson is popping up because of that.
This practise is done in every avenue of service be it a computer or a car.

I have been doing house calls for almost 7 years and I find that when I do my job right and they only call me when needed that this only increases my reputation and referrals as I am trusted.
Many false claims of corruption' have stemed from new or re-installs of windows and the cpu owner has not requested their cpu to be more secure or a communication gap is created by the cpu owner thinking [falsely] that their cpu is now safe as it has a new install of their operating system.
A new install should be done properly and makes a system clean,but never safe.
To truly make a system safe can also make the owner unable to access many of the sites they go to and use,or sites they might wish to go to in the future.This is where the communication comes into play and why I truly love a house call.I am there to help,and I do not want to return unless they need more help.

An example would be a request for a keylogger protecter.Yet their ten year old child plays a free online game that uses a keylogger for the game when used to protect the user and themselves.This is not wrong by any means and was agreed to when the game was installed as well is there to protect the user .When they complain they were hacked or accused of doing wrong this is used to discover and prove the truth.
Or disabling the microsoft printer and file sharing from the networks properties.Sounds good but what if they need it? Did they ask you to disable it? If not,why did you?
If everyone who bought a new cpu had a qualified tech come to their house and go through with them of what they need and desire before ever going online,and then make sure they could go on line and do everything they wished,hence proving it works and then make the cpu safer after the fact then many of the accusations may not happen.
I am not protecting cpu techs or any service by stating my opinion as I only wish to protect the customer.No one ever knows everything about cpus and OS's,trust me.And most certainly no new computer comes totally configured to anyones true needs as noone knows or has asked usually.

Also,no offence to your hacker freind but they also know that if a true hacker wants to get in any cpu it can happen,even to them.So therefore noone is truly safe but can only be as safe as their surfing habits and operating systems maintenance.Every cpu has approx. 65500 ports on it.A trojan only needs one port.And most normal surfing uses port 80.
A good freind that can help is a blessing if you trust them as is a good paid tech.

If you downloaded the demo software they offer which does not "fix" anything, I doubt this is the issue. Why not remove the software, unless you plan on purchasing it, to be sure? I would run spyware and virus scans to see if you have an infestation.

SAS is an exceptionally easy to use application that will remove the majority of difficult Trojans and Worms, not just the easy ones. In addition it has the ability to remove Vundo and Smitfraud infections. SAS can lock your home page to prevent browser hi-jacking attempts.
If possible it is recommended that you load SAS in normal mode but run it in Safe Mode. Safe Mode can be started by continually pressing F8 during the boot sequence. If you are badly infected you might need to run SAS more than once to help clean your system. Afterwards if the only infections now being shown are in System Restore, once you are completely satisfied that you can boot normally, you can either delete the infected restore points manually, or temporarily turn off System Restore to purge the files.

to remove the last one you should download spybot search and destroy. its free and works well. Then reinstall firefox and it should run better. if not, reset your modem.
Backup and resinstalling your system will be the only sure way to fix all of your windows problems. When the OS is damaged to the point your having problems running basic exe files, rebuilding the system will be your best option. Just backup your files first. Have a friend help you out if your not too sure on how to do it.
