Business management is one of the much appreciated jobs positions in the world. The manager is required to have a keen eye so that he makes sure that all the business in running smoothly and there are no stones on the way of success and no decrease in the amount of profit earned each year.

All organizations, including business has managers. They may not be called managers as different titles can be used such as leaders, directors, and head teachers and so on. A good business manager should have abilities to plan, organize, co-ordinate, command and control. In business management, the above mentioned abilities are used a lot. Some examples of these decisions are

o Should we open a new factory in the north or south of a country?
o What price should we charge for the new product?
o Do we buy the new machine even though this will involve job losses for some of our workers?
o Is expansion in another country going to be profitable?

In business management all the decisions are important so it is common to divide these decisions into three types

Strategic decisions are very important which can affect the overall success of the business. Tactical decisions are decisions which are taken more frequently and which are less important. Operational decisions are day-to-day decisions, which will be taken by a lower level of manager.

Taking decision is always a risk. Time, money and other resources will be used as a result of a decision. In business management, taking decisions is one of the toughest jobs. In a small business, such as a sole trader, the owner is the manager. This person will be taking risks with their own capital or savings. These people are referred to as true entrepreneurs or risk takers. If the decision goes wrong they could end up losing their own house and other assets. In a larger business such as a public limited company, the manager taking the decision in not risking his or her own capital but that of the shareholders. Although the manager is still taking risks, the cost of poor decisions will be felt differently. The manager may lose his or her job but it is the shareholders capital that is at stake.
These risks cannot be eliminated but can be reduced by following some simple steps. These steps are sometimes called the decision-making process.

o It is important to establish the objectives of the organization.
o Identify and analyze the problem to be solved.
o Collect data on all possible alternative solutions.
o The most important decision in business management is to make the final decision and put it into effect.
o Look back to see whether the right decision was made. This is called review and evaluation of the decision.

Each department has its own manager. Like the manager of the human resource project will be responsible for

o Forecasting staff needs
o Recruiting staff
o Preparing job descriptions
o Keeping staff records etc.

In business management it is the duty of the managers to look over the departments.

I hope I have done well..may I know my score?

I have worked very hard on this, and I hope it helps. I put () where I changed a word or deleted one; I might have missed a few. My goal was to avoid the overuse of particular words, and to correct some phrasing problems.

"My work experience (comes) from assisting with my family's motel business. As an assistant manager, I have performed the following duties: checked in guests, dealt with customer inquiries and reservations over (the) telephone, helped maintain motel rooms through (the use of) appropriate cleaning standards, and instructed employees in performing specific tasks. While managing (these) tasks, I learned (how) to (help) the employees feel comfortable in a (customer-based? suitable? correct? – trying to avoid reuse of 'appropriate') working environment. I also learned effective methods for monitoring and maximizing employee production. Moreover, I was open (to) employee suggestions to help improve the motel business. Therefore, as an assistant manager, I developed a personal management style, learned public relation(s) skills through (the) handling (of) motel guests, and (developed) the key attributes of responsibility and trustworthiness."

"My experience (of) operating a motel has been gained (by) learning effective business management skills. I implemented various () strategies that have improved the success of the motel. I have also applied aspects of my educational background in marketing, accounting, and communication skills to the (motel’s ongoing operation). Therefore, as an assistant manager, I have gained valuable leadership skills (by) implementing effective decision making and problem solving methods."

I enjoyed this alot!!!! I just got my bachelors but there is still lots I need to learn

I am currently doing this type of degree, though I heard salary isn’t much.

If you love apples… scream Aye!

what's your point?

Aye!

1.well basically, they've already told you what your job description is, but in the first question, they want you to explain it to them in your own words. that's for them to see if you actually understand what they're asking of you.

so for example it says: Customer Care Coordinator is the voice and face of the Client. You will be speaking on behalf of the Client and therefore must maintain professional and high standards at all time.

so you should say something like this: As Customer Care Coordinator for " company name", I will be the voice and face of the client ( or you can say" I will be the clients first main point of contact"). I will be speaking on the client's behalf and therefore will need to maintain professional and high standards at all times.

2.for this question, use the skill requirement to answer the question.
for example: your company/ "company name", is looking for a professional and skilled coordinator, who is fluent in speaking Arabic and English, etc etc, ( use the skills they want you to have and you can add some of your own too, like honesty, friendly personality, etc)

3.basically why should they hire you over the other guy?
something like:

As a skilled Arabic and English speaker, and having " list some qualifications that may come in handy, like experience, certificates, etc", I believe i can contribute to your company by:

4.list some of your strengths, like: I am an excellent team worker and have strong leadership skills. I am a confident communicator, I have great people skills, ………

5.( now this is important. You have to think about this question carefully. never ever give them a weakness that can jeopordise your chances of getting the job. like for this job, you can't say, my weakness is that i'm shy!!!! so you have to think of a weakness that has absoultely nothing to do with the job or a weakness that actually might come in handy in your job. or the third option is to just say something like my weakness is sweets or chocolate or something like that.

and 6. pretty much what are your goals. as in, where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

good luck

thank u

I think they would like to know what YOUR thinking is on these topics.

You can keep posting these questions or find the answers yourself, but either way, no one is going to read all this let alone answer it all.

That was really good writing, and you stated the points clearly. Great stuff!
