Nowadays we find more and more women are starting their own businesses. Women not only run these businesses successfully but also make them a success. The success ratio of women are more when compared with men that the governments of all nations have understood the potential of women and are ready to help them by providing grants for their business in order to motivate them. Some of the popular businesses started by women include craft business, brokerage, consulting, administration jobs and housekeeping jobs and so on.
Earlier women used to approach their relatives, friend s and local banks for commercial loans. But now they have understood and known that they are eligible for grants from government which need not be repaid and are utilizing them to the fullest extent. Apart from these normal grants there are also business grants for minority women of Asian, African American or Spanish American origin.
Actually free grants for minority women business are loans which are offered by granters to the receivers without expecting them to repay. This means, the receiver who have received a grant need not repay the granter at any point of time and can make use of the money for their business. Normally free grants for minority women businesses are offered by non profit organizations or institutions, government organizations and other businesses. Apart from this regional authorities and individual states too have their own set of free grants for minority women.
Loans and grants are not similar but are very different from each other. Loans attract interest from the receiver to the granter and the principal amount is required to be paid back after a stipulated time frame, but grants do not attract any interests and need not be repaid back. Since repayment is not involved, the credit score or history of the applicants is not checked for providing grants which might not be case with loans. Grants are not like loans that they are offered only in limited numbers.
Details of free grants for minority women for starting business can be got from non profit organizations, women organizations, from online websites, from friends, women activists of the locality or area and personal lawyers. There are also minority women grants especially meant for single mothers who can avail this for continuing their education or start their own business and so on. Single mothers can gain economic status and in the course of time their social status too with the help of these grants.

This video will be a great tool for those who are contemplating starting a business and achieving financial independence. We must own the businesses that are in our communities so our dollar will turn over 8 12 times before it leaves the hands of African-Americans. In 2008, African-Americans spent $913 Billion but only 2% were spent with African-American owned businesses. This is economic suicide. No other ethnic group operates like this. Help answer the question about start business
Wife wants to start business with partner? My wife and I already have a sole proprietor business license together and now she wants to start a business with one of her friend. If their business venture makes profit, they will split in half. My wife and her partner will use our business license to purchase and sell products. So my question is that when it is time to file tax, can my wife report income as what she gets from the business (half) or she has to report in full? Or it is better for them to form a partnership of some sort?

The main tip that I want to give you is to do lots of research before you begin. A good place to start is the California Business Portal (see below).
Also you need to be informed about federal regulations as well as California.
A good accountant can help you with these issues and can also get your books setup for success financially and when tax time comes.

Yes, you can start whenever you like. When you do your taxes at the end of the year, you will fill out a schedule C income and expenses unless you are starting a bigger business. In this case, you will be paying taxes quarterly. Be sure to get with an accountant and tax advisor if it is a bigger business. Good luck in your venture.
There is a video here on youtube with Jim Roger and Marc Faber in 2005 where they are talking about the future. In that vid Jim said the dollar was going to devalue and that the US economy wasnt real

Unfortunately, about 80% of business start-ups fail within two years, and for all kinds of reasons:
1. If you have a SUCCESSFUL family business, let's assume you have some business experience. Then, let's also assume your business plan and marketing plan make sense, you have sufficient start-up capital, you have the vision and energy business ownership requires, and you have a fighting chance.
2, 3 & 4: The key to starting and growing a successful business is:
a) Be sure that there is a market for your product or service
b) Do proper research, check out the competition, do a proper business and marketing plan, try to determine how much financing you'll need for the first two years, and then double it; try
to determine what your sales will be for the first year or 18 months, and then figure it will take twice as long.
I own a business and fwew things are more exhilarating as being totally responsible for your own destiny. But also expect lots of sleepless nights, lots of worries, lots of wondering how to make payroll and how to pay suppliers. But it's all worth it!
Most places require a business license from a sole proprietor. Once you are handed your license, you can start.
I was going to say Zubair Importing, but the name alone
"Zubair" would be good for North America, and generic enough to expand into other fields.
It may be a more common name where you are though, and not so distinctive
Why do you think Thomas Jefferson said he favored an Economy based on Agriculture that stressed individual freedom?
Ron Paul predicted it years ago also. He seems right about limited government and gold backed currencies.
George Soros thinks it’s funny that america is going down. What a prick.
