With lots of hammering and dremeling, I turned a 1964 half dollar into an awesome silver ring!

Try the local yellow pages.
You could ask her to bring over some of the gadgets so that you can play at your house too. But if you don't like that idea, then I wouldn't try to compete in the same area. Rather, don't try to compete in the area of technology, because it sounds like she will always be one step ahead with that.
That doesn't mean that technology is the only fun thing though! Think about what you do at your house that is fun to you. Share those things with her. Is there something fun to do outside? Do you have board games? Particularly good movies? Could you get some craft supplies and make something? Baking food is always fun. You could decorate cookies together o there's always decorating a cake – you both could decorate your own privately and then share them to see how different they are.
If you both really like animals, and you have a hamster, you could think of something fun to do with the hamster. Maybe make a fun contraption for the hamster to play in (like a big maze if you have an active hamster!). Or build it a house.
There's a lot to make sleepovers fun and it doesn't have to involve games! In fact, it's much better for you in the long run if you do something active (like exercise) or "educational" (educational can definitely be fun!). All of the above will probably teach you a lot more than playing video games for hours. Ask your parents to look for books on fun science experiments (or search online for fun science experiments for kids). There are lots of really fun, surprising things for people of all ages to do. Next time try mixing some corn starch and water and see how weird that substance is…
Overall, let it be something that's fun to you and then likely it will be fun to her too.
an apple is a fruit XD (description)

I really, really liked that. However, the name Lillian is quite dated and I am wondering if a name like that would survive to that point in our future. But who knows?
Great idea, great writing style.
AAAARRRAGH!!! why dose’nt bre do any more videos?
DOES ANYONE KNOW?
I miss those days so much. It was when everyone was just so chill and not as dramatic. And I LOVED the Amanda Show haha. I used to watch my George of the Jungle VHS everyday. It would annoy the crap out of my mom (: Why do things have to change? All these inventions are doing is making us go insane
I don't remember being particularly attracted to either. I guess it would be the idea of moving at fast speed and at the same time being in nature. It relates very much to the idea of freedom. The one time I tried to ride a horse, I failed awfully, because while it may appear like a lot of fun from the outside, if you are afraid of heights, like I am, you realize you might be a little too high up on a horse and you really don't have as much support as you imagine you would. You have to rely on the muscles in your legs to keep you in balance up there and it's difficult for someone who is attempting it the for the first time.
I'm not convinced by your motivation for this one, sorry: "boys like playing with action figurines and cars because of their spatial awareness." I used to play with dolls with my girl friends and with cars with my boy friends. I think I actually have horrible spatial awareness. Although I focus and perform very well when I am exercising or playing a physical game, in day-to-day life I pretty much bump into anything. Or maybe it's lack of attention.
Your statements omit a lot of games children play. In my circle of childhood friends, we also preferred outdoor games or if we were indoors we played with Lego or board games-chess especially was a popular game. We would organize competitions and have a lot of fun. For the most part, my childhood friends were boys.
I guess its all up to what you like. if your into that whole gaudy diamonds everywhere thing, then thats you. Me? All i wear (other than clothes) when i go out or go to work is a movado. The plain black face with the silver stud at the "12" been wearing it for 4 years
i am using 3 foot of 1 and a half inch for the barrel and 1 foot of 3 inch for my chanber will it work many thanx
If you have an idea you think will really go over you can talk to a patent attorney and they can check and see if any patents exist for it as well as help you patent the idea. If that is too much since you said it is a simple idea you can always try to sell the licensing to market the product to a small company that makes similar items and then just collect on the licensing fees while not having to have a hands on situation dealing with promoting or selling it. Also you can try to make a few of your item and sell it at a local event like a fall festival and see how it goes over or ask a local store to display it and see if they will sell for a portion of the profits.
Get something along the lines of his interests… a Laker's jersey, a new lego's kit, etc.
In my experience, 13 year old boys don't give a crap about subtlety, so ask him what he wants outright. They would rather just get a gift and get something they actually want. If he says "I dunno" then ask him what he thinks is cool and get something along those lines.
The premise of your story shows some promise, but your writing needs a lot of work at this point.
You're putting too much info up front that it becomes and information dump rather than a story.
Each word, each sentence, each paragraph, each chapter must push the story forward.
Each sentence must be a lead-in to the next.
Each chapter must make your reader NEED to keep turning the pages.
The use of grammar and the sentence structure make it sound like it was written by someone 12 – 15 years old.
Tip: Your first sentence is the most important. This is your one chance to capture your reader's attention. Make good use of that chance.
It reminds me a lot of Stephen King's Running Man and a bit, dare I say it, like Repo! (The Genetic Opera).
I felt it was a bit melodramatic with the coughs in the beginning, but, other than that, not really a lot I can critique. I like where this is going and I like your writing style. You know just when to tell, not show, and vice versa. The dialogue is great, too.
This is really, really good. I wish you the best of luck on your story and happy writing. :]
