Help answer the question about tech gadgets
Do high tech gadgets gifts count as marketing expenses?I am a self employed high-tech consultant with an international practice. I would like to thank some of the great people who help me get and/or execute contracts by offering them high-tech gifts like an iPod, or a digital camera. For tax purposes, can I consider these gifts as marketing expenses and deduct them as such on my Schedule C? If so, is there any limitation on the price of each of those gifts (a digital camera is in the $200-$300 range, same with an iPod)?

Very good. Not my normal type of read. Yet very good.
I noticed some tense changes but I think that they were intentional (or at the very least fit the story well enough that its as good as intentional)
Also I think the use of "ya" was a bit odd. I personally think using "yeah" is better but not a major problem.
lastly you might want to establish that you main character is female earlier because at first I thought the narrator was a man. But that's more an issue with me then you. since on reading the first part again I see how it could go either way. but I've learned that if one reader gets confused, most likely others will get confused.
But otherwise I enjoyed it much. The writing was witty, the jokes were funny and I'm intrigued to see what direction it takes.

Well I would've said an LED TV.. but all kidding aside I would probably say a vacation would be great. I haven't been out of my state in 6years and I'm going nuts. Also a bluray player is fuckin amazing. Other than that, a really expensive giftcard works too.. hope this helps.
