I'm not a professional but You're Definitely on the Right Track to keeping Your Head and Credit Rating above Water…

It's unfortunate you are just making ends meet but I believe your analysis has overlooked some things that might also hurt you financially that you need to consider:

1. There will be real estate expenses when you the Seller goes to closing that might have to come out of savings, bec you didn't describe your mortgage balance vs which the cash out net sale price might be OR describe how much downpayment $$ you initially made etc

2. Hopefully say if you sold your home and relocated to rental nearby, you would not lose client/customers <=sometimes driven by school districts & boundaries, and you didn't say anything about opportunity to pickup new ones or any competitive day care nearby

3. If hubby refuses, a couple of options as a last resort would be to (i) open discussions w/mortgage company about some type of loan restructuring, (ii) raise childcare fees slightly, (iii) send Hubby out to get part-time work, (iv) analyze how much you spend on smokes, beer & nonessentials etc. and take aggressive action to streamline to barebones <= temporarily

Hang in There and Good Luck!

It would be very tough. You would need a lot of knowledge on dog groomer and a lot of business background. If I were you I would temporarily get a job in a grooming facility to see what kinds of equipment is needed and ask questions on how to get started. Maybe take a few business management classes online or at a community college. You're also going to need a lot of money to start out. I'm sure the process is a long one. You're going to need a bunch of lisences and certificates and what not. If you had a business partner with some experience, that would probably help. Anyways good luck in your ventures.

farming

look dude, it seems as if your dad had a gap left in him when you were having your "phase" and he filled it with the most readily available source. he is a SOB (no offense) for treating you like that and i can only hope that one day he will realize what he did. now i don't know how you could appeal to him. maybe he just let this run on for too long and now he doesn't know how to fix it, or maybe he really doesn't want you to be a part of him anymore. you have to understand that this isn't your fault. i don't personally know your dad so i cant dig into this deeper than that, but i think you should ask him if he loves you. just like that. and if he says no, with all the bluntness in the world i have say, you got to move on. find adults that you can relate to like an uncle or even a teacher. remember that there are more fatherly figures in the world than just your birth father. you have to keep in mind that what ever happened with your father, it was out of your control, and you tried to fix it, thats all that matters. i wish you the best of luck!

luckily I know how to farm stealthily, when times were good I learned myself how to grow weed, at least now I can grow food. I already got my non gmo heirloom seeds. I wish I brought more , it seems it’s really gonna happen. we might even have a civil war. oh boy, wow , it looks like it’s reallly gona happen. think I’ll build a still on the hill as well.

@Tasadaru All banks. We need not banks but currencies that don’t fail and can’t be manipulated. We also need FREE water and enegy.

There is a video here on youtube with Jim Roger and Marc Faber in 2005 where they are talking about the future. In that vid Jim said the dollar was going to devalue and that the US economy wasnt real

Check out msnbc.com/todayshow. They recently are doing a series on women having to stay home and needing to make money. One of their suggestions was to become a guide for cha cha. It is done on the Internet and you can start at 10.00 Check out chacha.com

Although the other answerer decided to be sarcastic, you must remember that in presenting yourself to the company either in person and in writing, you need to demonstrate to them why THEY need YOU. If you tell a company that you're overqualified, then they won't hire you. If you tell a company that you want to work for them because your babysitter lives nearby, they won't care.

When you write your cover letter, you will want to tell them that you are responding to their advertisement for an Administrative Assistant and you feel that your qualifications will make you an excellent candidate for the position. Then refer to whatever they asked for in the ad, like "must type 60 WPM, be proficient with MS Office, etc" and tell them how you meet and/or exceed those qualifications. For example, you might say something like, "I can type over 70 WPM and I feel that I can provide excellent clerical and secretarial services to your company."

Finally, the company doesn't give a hoot about your personal needs (gas, daycare). They want the most qualified, eager, ready to work person for the job. So apply for jobs at companies that are near your babysitter or within 10 miles of your home, and don't apply elsewhere. When the company asks what hours you are available to work, tell them, "I am available from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm" (or whatever), but don't add, "because I need to pick up my kids from the babysitter." They don't care. They just want to know if you're available when they want you.

Remember, you are selling yourself to the company. Leave any of your personal issues at the door.

Good luck.

good ol’ sharecropping

Ron Paul predicted it years ago also. He seems right about limited government and gold backed currencies.

Do you think your hobby business could actually do well? If you work hard at it, she could still end up being able to stay at home with the kids, just not right now. Is she willing to work for a while at a not-so-great job right now so you can pursue what you love. You really have to weight the potential of a small business with the downside and see if your wife would be supportive. This is a hard one because I encourage people to start up small businesses, but I also hate daycare and the idea of someone else raising my kids. Are you sure you couldn't still pursue these business ideas while working 50 hours a week? Is there any way to make it happen so both of you are happy?

It sounds like they will have a hard time selling.

Offer to help pack up as much of the stuff as possible to move it into storage while your parents sell this house. All of that junk and animals will make it really hard to sell.

correct.

Why do you think Thomas Jefferson said he favored an Economy based on Agriculture that stressed individual freedom?

George Soros thinks it’s funny that america is going down. What a prick.
