
Slow down to hurry up’ is a phrase I often heard when I began working many years ago. My boss would always caution me against hurtling towards a predefined goal without looking around. Strange advice? Perhaps. In a world where speed and goal oriented working is encouraged, I was told to ‘Slow down to hurry up’.
