4559860445 7655227980 m Trends & Predictions In Technology For 2009

Like everything else that changes and has trends, so does technology. In a sense, that makes it no different from fashion, cars or anything else that comes and goes. Yet unlike those things, technology is always evolving. Newer and better all the time, smaller, faster, higher capability and capacity than the last. Here I will list what is predicted to be hot sellers for 2009 in the ever changing world of technology, while everybody’s pocketbooks/wallets are hurting.

This year, it has been predicted to have booming PC sales, and if its anything like last year-laptops will also have a rising sales. With more and more people trying to have their own small businesses during these tough economic times, they will seek out the latest and fastest PCs. They also will seek out all in one printers to help complete their new at home offices and to save space. We’re likely to see prices drop though, as stores will be forced to lower them in order to survive. It will be a good year for the buyer and bad for the stores.

With the DTV switch coming up and analog going out, we can expect to see Digital TVs prices dropping as well. Like all technology, once it comes main stream, prices drop. Also cable company’s may lose even more customers as more stations and sub-stations will be popping up.

Smart phones and PDA’s may flop, with issues from Blackberry and Iphones people may get turned off. Also with their high prices for services don’t help the wallet.

Mp3 players becoming more mainstream, Ipods might lose the lead. With their high prices and issues known with the newer models, might help lesser known brands gain in sales.

Video Game consoles will likely do well, Xbox and Playstation both have lowered their prices and Wiis are selling very well. Also two new consoles are coming out this year from lesser known GP2X and Zeebo.

Microsoft’s Windows new OS, Windows 7 is in BETA stage and might come out as soon as this year.

Open source software and freeware will be more in demand as people don’t have the money to splurge on pricey software.

Social Networks will still be popping up with no end in sight, the companies who run them can make good money on it.

Blogging and citizen journalism will be growing and making a larger splash in the media world. Perhaps even hurting TV, newspaper and radio in news.

And that’s the prediction for the trends of technology this year 2009. Nobody knows for sure what this year will hold, but we sure can hope for the best.

try retro clothing!! cause there arnt really any new trends that i know of

Believe it or not, yellow isnt the only color thats big now.
Teal, and deep jewl tone colors are always Envogue, but right now……theryre huge! Leggings are going out of style, but belts are here to stay at least for another two years. many european designers are pairing skinnier belts with outfits. Even in warm weather, scarves are a must this season. when it comes to dresses: plunging neck lines and ruffles are all the rage. Jewlery: the chunkier the better! hair styles: many people are still doing bobs( a short style cut up to the jaw in the front and angled shorter in the back) and long sleek styles with straight bangs. but just keep in mind that long blown out layers are never out of style. Stores: You can find scarves at American Eagle or H&M. American Eagle just came out with a new line of scarves. but for the rest of everything i just told you. i highly recomend h&M or Forever21. i hope i could help.

Here is an article about the periodic table. Hope this helps you…

@endocomar93 That was not a real hologram. That was digital CGI with a greenscreen. The only technological advance there was the synchronization of the cameras filming the “holographic” person with the digital insertion of his image. The people in the studio didn’t see the hologram, only the viewers at home. Because it wasn’t really a hologram.

This is the most informative coverage about stereoscopic 3-D i have found from the internets that exist in a news site thus far. Rocketboom should try broadcasting news episode with Molly in 3-D. Seriously. Yes seriously indeed.

Pretty informative video! I never got to the theater to see ‘Avatar’ in 3D… wish that I would have set aside the time… purchased the Blu-Ray version on disc…absolutely a magical film! I can’t afford one of those expensive 3D televisions ( just bought a high-definition screen for Blu-Ray),but I sure hope that Cameron isn’t going to release the 3D version just for 3D TV owners… the rest of us would like the experience in 3D as well!

I agree with the poster who said we're starting horses too young. It seems like there's a big push to get these horses under saddle and over fences faster and earlier, and to jump them higher sooner. I hate that. I've seen too many needless suspensory injuries, sore backs, tendon pulls, and more. Horses are getting hock and stifle injections at younger and younger ages. That's just wrong.

I'm also not a fan of the way the equitation ring has been going lately. It used to be about developing young riders for our show jumping ranks. Now it seems to be whoever can leave out the most strides and make the sharpest turns wins. What happened to smart riding? What happened to straightness and balance? This just encourages the sort of frantic riding I've seen in the jumper ring lately. I'm starting to see medal classes where inside turns are harder than the longer routes, and the courses try to encourage kids to think instead of just run at the fences. I hope that trend continues.

I hate how simplified the hunter courses have become. I remember the days of galloping natural obstacles out in a field. Obviously indoor shows killed the old style hunter riding, but the courses and jumps have become downright predictable. Every jump has a groundline, plus a flower box or gate, plus a top pole. Even the "verticals" ride like triple bars. It's ridiculous. Horses are pinned based on smooth lead changes instead of boldness to the fences and athleticism in tricky combinations. The new hunter derbies are bringing back some of that brilliance of the old days, and I hope they continue to grow in popularity.

I also miss the thoroughbred in modern competition. I know the warmbloods are popular now, and it's getting harder and harder to find a good TB that hasn't been ruined by the track. The WBs are easier for the ams to ride, being quieter in most cases. But something in me still perks up when I see a nice TB in the ring. Nothing can quite compare to their big, free stride or natural athleticism. And in my opinion, most of them are smarter than the so-called "dumb-bloods." The indoors killed the TB. In a smaller space, there's less of a need or opportunity to gallop and show off that long stride.

I also really hate some of the gadgets I see nowadays, particularly in the jumper ring. The bits these people are putting in their horses' mouths are insane. And the way they're riding these jumpers makes me shake my head. It seems a lot of inexperienced trainers and unsure ams think a jumper should drag the rider around the course. Not so. My jumpers all know to wait for me. They're all balanced and correct. Our rounds don't make spectators wince, and I've had people make me offers on horses as I'm trotting out the ring, saying, "We just never knew it could be so easy." Riding in the jumper ring isn't about galloping all-out to every fence. It's about thinking, about finding the right path and right stride and having the scope to follow through with the plan. But too many people seem to miss that. That's why I see the worse falls in the jumper ring.

I'm also sorely disappointed in trainers who let their clients ride in classes that are clearly above them. I make sure my students are jumping 6" higher at home than they will be in competition, and doing it well. You shouldn't be praying your client makes it through the course alive. Overfacing horse and rider just shatters confidence and sometimes bones.

Okay, I think I'm done ranting for now. I just miss the classical systems of riding which seem to be getting replaced for anything that can deliver a quick fix. There are no quick solutions. There's only time, patience, and consistent training.

@AquaInertia CHEERS MAN,HOW DID YOU REMEMBER THAT!!!!!

Sherwin Williams has the best color visualizer on the web, inho. You can see their color palette all at once, it suggests coordinating colors and you can search by color names. Check out the "concepts in color" tab for the latest & greatest:

A color called "urban putty" might be what you're looking for.

Move over Viewmaster! I think 3D will only go mainstream when it can be achieved without the need of special glasses or headgear. Until then it’s going to be a novelty.

HEY LEAVE MY GIRL ALONE!!!!……..hahaha

on the periodic table the, when going across you have to count it as s1,s2,p1 and so on you count untill you get to element you want bottom of thiis web page theres a picture to help you out

Like almost every election prior to 2008, the Democrats have continued to master the art of voter fraud, this time using the help of ACORN. Furthermore, the only clear trend from 2008 is RACISM – Africans (many of whom have never voted a day in their lives) now suddenly show up to vote just because of a black presidential candidate.

These trends will definitely continue as this Obama regime will continue consolidate it power, primarily by manipulating the census to gain favorable results by redistricting.

2008 was then end of Democracy as we know it, as Obama and is band of thugs will do all it can to remain in power.

I’d say autostereoscopic techniques (particularly multiview parallax barrier) will win out over the current trends simply because people would rather see 3D without needing to wear silly-looking glasses.

Plus, with the release of FujiFilm’s parllax barrier camera and the more media-saturated Nintendo 3DS, autostereoscopic displays will be getting much more press coverage very soon. And any business(wo)man knows more press equals more popularity.

The price of stock are influenced by many factors, one of them is the trend of the market. If a market is growing and a company see that it can satisfy this growing the it can expect to increase its sales more quickly than the cost. This increase the benefits. The owners of the companies and investors (speculative and no speculative) see the possibilities of obtain for them this benefits and they wish to get the paper. Many investors demanding papers of one company increase the value of the paper.
Now suppose that a big number of companies which quote in Wall Street expect to obtain big benefits; the price of all these papers will increase and finally will increase the indicators of WS: NASDAQ, S&P, etc.
